Best time to visit
Nov → Mar (High season)
Apr → Oct (Off peak)
To see Rio in full colour, we would suggest visiting in high season (Carnival is also in March). However if you wish to avoid the crowds and don’t like the heat, Rio offers pleasant temperatures year round. It is also more cost effective to travel outside of peak season where possible!
